Metropolitan Hospital is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in patient care, ensuring safety and excellence throughout the surgical process.
Role Overview
The Anesthesiologist is responsible for providing safe anesthesia, comprehensive perioperative care, critical care management, and effective pain management. This role requires a high degree of leadership and the ability to make independent clinical decisions in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgical procedures.
Provide perioperative care, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative recovery management.
Manage patients requiring critical care in specialized units.
Develop and implement pain management plans for patients.
Lead clinical teams and provide expert guidance on anesthetic procedures.
Make independent, evidence-based clinical decisions to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia.
Valid registration and practicing license from the relevant medical board (KMPDC).
Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
