Job Description
Metropolitan Hospital was founded in 1995 by a group of professional entrepreneurs to fulfill the need for proper medical care for the community in a warm, welcoming environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe anesthesia, perioperative care, critical care, and pain management, exercising leadership and independent clinical decision-making to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
Manage perioperative care, ensuring patients are adequately prepared and monitored before, during, and after surgery.
Oversee critical care and pain management strategies for patients in various hospital settings.
Exercise independent clinical decision-making, particularly in high-pressure or emergency environments.
Provide clinical leadership within the anesthesia and surgical teams.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia (M.Med or equivalent).
Valid registration and license from the relevant medical practitioners and dentists board.
Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
