Sybyl Limited is looking for a results-driven Account Manager to lead IT sales efforts in Kenya, specifically targeting the SACCO (Savings and Credit Co-operative Societies) sector. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between technology solutions and clients’ business goals, managing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to final payment collection. The ideal candidate has a knack for building lasting partnerships and a proven track record in the East African IT sector.
Responsibilities
Account Management: Manage existing customer accounts and foster long-term relationships.
Business Development: Identify and develop additional business opportunities within assigned accounts and prospect for new targeted accounts.
Sales Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship management, and payment collections.
Performance Reporting: Meet sales targets and provide quarterly reports on progress and attainment.
Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison between the customer and the company to ensure satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to ensure all customer expectations and deliverables are met.
Value Alignment: Help customers overcome business challenges by aligning Sybyl's value proposition with their strategic objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.
IT Sales Experience: Work experience specifically in IT Products & Services Sales.
Account Management Experience: At least 5+ years of Account Management experience is a mandatory requirement.
Track Record: A proven track record in both sales and account management.
Regional Knowledge: Experience working within the East African market is a significant advantage.
