As an Account Manager for Inside Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing customer relationships through digital engagement and modern lead management tools. This role involves qualifying leads, promoting biosolutions, and leveraging technical insights to deliver value to customers in the Animal Health and Nutrition sector across the Middle East, India, and Africa (MEIA) region.
Responsibilities
Lead Management & Digital Selling
Qualify, nurture, and convert inbound digital leads into sales using modern tools like Salesforce, Chatbots, and Marketplaces.
Leverage industry events, exhibitions, and market research activities to generate and strengthen the leads pipeline.
Manage leads through the full sales pipeline with strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy.
Account Management & Revenue Growth
Own sales and profitability for assigned industry accounts across the MEIA region.
Promote Novonesis biosolutions (enzymes, microbes, and related offerings) by translating technical benefits into clear value propositions such as feed efficiency, animal performance, silage quality, and ROI.
Provide inputs for demand planning, inventory management, and financial planning.
Customer Engagement & Segmentation
Deploy and refine customer segmentation models to improve targeting and engagement quality.
Capture customer feedback and translate insights into commercial actions and improved engagement models.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
Work closely with Marketing, Technical Service, Regional Inside Sales, Strategy Deployment, and Commercial transformation teams to co-create and execute Inside Sales plays and digital campaigns.
Support trial setup, interpretation, and conversion into repeatable commercial wins.
Digital Capability Strengthening
Adopt digital tools and services (Salesforce, Chatbots, Marketplace, etc.) for remote sales and service differentiation.
Leverage AI for efficiency enhancement and generating actionable insights.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology, preferably Animal Nutrition, Veterinary or related degrees. MBA is a plus.
5+ years of successful sales or business development experience in animal health/ nutrition, with a science background, preferably in biosolutions.
Basic understanding of biosolutions and animal nutrition.
Proficiency in English; proficiency in French will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Data Insights, and GenAI tools.
Hunter mindset to persuade new leads and to drive penetration into white space areas.
Strong understanding and adoption of digital solutions.
