The Ungraded Artisan (Masonry and Tiling Works) is responsible for undertaking masonry and tiling tasks on the company's various buildings and installations. This role involves performing essential structural work, from interpreting technical drawings to the final aesthetic finishing of company infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting building plans, layouts, and elevation drawings.
Setting out building works to ensure project accuracy.
Inspecting the quality and quantity of construction materials used on-site.
Undertaking brick and mortar works for both new and existing buildings.
Performing plastering and tiling works according to professional standards.
Liaising with plumbers, electricians, and painters during the execution of building works.
Guiding and supervising laborers in the execution of building works.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum mean grade of 'D-' Minus or its equivalent.
Trade test grade III and above is considered an added advantage.
On-the-job experience in masonry and tiling is highly desirable.
