Ungraded Artisan (Carpentry & Joinery Works)

• Read and interpret building plans, layouts, and elevation drawings.
• Set out and install roofing structures and materials.
• Install essential building fixtures, including doors, windows, and cabinets.
• Inspect construction materials to ensure quality and accurate quantities.
• Perform repair works for building roofs, cladding, fixtures, and office furniture.
• Liaise with other technical teams, including plumbers, electricians, and painters, for building projects.
• Supervise and guide laborers during the execution of building works.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

• At least a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum mean grade of 'D-' (Minus) or its equivalent.
• Possession of a Trade Test Grade III and above is considered an added advantage.
• Practical on-the-job experience in carpentry and joinery is highly desirable.
