The University of Eldoret invites applications for the position of Tutorial Fellow in Project Management. This is a contractual role where the successful candidate will provide academic support to senior staff while advancing their own academic qualifications. The position is offered on a three-year renewable contract.
Role Overview
The Tutorial Fellow will primarily assist senior academic members of staff in various assignments within the Department of Project Management as allocated by the Head of Department. A key requirement and component of this role is that the individual must be actively undertaking a Doctoral degree program. Beyond teaching assistance, the role involves contributing to the university's professional and community services and building strategic linkages.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve on contractual terms as defined by the university policies.
Assist senior academic members of staff in assignments allocated by the Head of Department.
Actively undertake and pursue a Doctoral degree (PhD) programme.
Provide professional and community services and initiate strategic linkages.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Master’s degree from a recognized and accredited university in Project Management or a relevant field.
Be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program.
Be registered with a relevant professional body.
Demonstrated proficiency in Computer applications.
Must show clear potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Terms and Conditions
The position of Tutorial Fellow is on a three (3) year contract, renewable.
Remuneration will be as per the current University policies and regulations.
