The University of Eldoret is seeking to recruit a Tutorial Fellow in the field of Procurement and Purchasing. This is an academic role where the successful candidate will assist senior academic staff in departmental duties while actively pursuing their doctoral studies. The position is offered on a three-year contractual basis, renewable upon performance and progress.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve on contractual terms as defined by the university.
Assist senior academic members of staff in assignments allocated by the Head of Department.
Must undertake and progress in a Doctoral degree (PhD) programme.
Provide professional and community services and initiate linkages for the department.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the university management from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Master’s degree from a recognized and accredited University in the relevant field (Procurement/Purchasing).
Must be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme.
Be registered with a relevant professional body.
Proficiency in Computer applications.
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research activities.
Terms and Conditions
The position of Tutorial Fellow is on a three (3) year contract, renewable. Remuneration will be as per the current University policies and regulations.
