We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, industry-connected, and student-centric Tutorial Fellow with entrepreneurial acumen to foster teaching, research, and innovation ecosystems. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the capability to bridge academia and grow graduate employability while ensuring sustainability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach Pharmacology Units allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions.
Review pharmacology course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and the development of research activities.
Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancies.
Disseminate research findings at national or international conferences, scientific symposiums, and webinars.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Master's and Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacy from an accredited University.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrate potential for university teaching, research, and community extension.
Commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Valid Pharmacy and Poisons Board Practice Licence.
