Holy Cross Catholic International School is seeking a Business/Geography Secondary School Teacher. The main purpose of the role is to plan and deliver the Cambridge International Curriculum to learners in line with the pedagogy of Cambridge International Education, under the guidance of the subject Head of Department, School Principal, and School Administration according to the values and ethos of the Catholic Church.
Responsibilities
Teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Head of school.
Contribute to and share responsibility for the realization of the vision and philosophy of the school.
Demonstrate and promote positive values, attitudes, and behaviors expected from all members of staff.
Work within the school's policies and framework relating to teachers' responsibilities.
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
Infuse joy and passion for learning in lessons so that students are excited and interested in academic excellence.
Be accountable for students' mastery of content and academic standards.
Maintain positive, constructive, and professional relationships with students, their families, and colleagues.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must be a practicing Catholic who embraces the teachings of the Catholic church.
Degree in Education.
3 years teaching experience in the Cambridge curriculum.
Flexible and open to change – handles uncertainty and complexity well.
