Role Overview\n\nAmentum is seeking a Transient Line Technician to assist the Transient Line Production Superintendent with ground handling and servicing of arriving and departing aircraft. The role involves performing standard aviation operations and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards in a collaborative team environment.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n* Provide ground handling and servicing for arriving and departing aircraft, including refueling, towing, and securing as required.\n* Follow and perform Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standard marshalling commands to ensure safe and efficient aircraft movements.\n* Support aircraft maintenance checks, inspections, and operational activities under supervision.\n* Coordinate with T-Line supervisors and team members to ensure timely servicing of all aircraft.\n* Operate ground support equipment (GSE) and other vehicles in compliance with safety protocols.\n* Assist in implementing procedures for safe handling of large-body aircraft operations in accordance with industry standards.\n* Identify and resolve minor maintenance issues or escalate them to appropriate personnel.\n* Maintain records of services performed and report any discrepancies or issues encountered.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n\n* Minimum of two (2) years of general aircraft maintenance experience. Experience with large-body aircraft is preferred.\n* High school diploma or equivalent (NCE qualification mentioned).\n* Demonstrated understanding of FAA standard marshalling commands.\n* Current and valid driver’s license (U.S. or International).\n* Valid passport (minimum 1 year validity remaining) and ability to travel internationally.\n* Ability to pass and maintain contract medical requirements for deployment.\n* Familiarity with aviation ground handling practices and safety compliance.\n\n### Preferred Qualifications\n\n* Formal aviation ground handling certifications or related training.\n* Experience servicing large-body cargo and passenger aircraft.\n* Familiarity with Air Mobility Command (AMC) procedures.\n* Prior experience in OCONUS or austere environments with a multi-national workforce.\n\n### How to Apply\n\nQualified candidates should apply by visiting the Amentum careers portal via .
