The Superintending Engineer (Structural) is a mid-level technical leadership role within the Nakuru County Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various civil, marine, and structural projects, ensuring they meet the required safety and engineering standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and project management to maintain the county's infrastructure integrity.\n\n### Responsibilities\n- Leading the design and supervision of construction for civil, marine, and structural works.\n- Preparing comprehensive tender documents and detailed cost estimates for engineering projects.\n- Conducting thorough structural integrity surveys on existing buildings and infrastructure.\n- Analyzing test results from integrity surveys to provide recommendations and interventions.\n- Ensuring all works comply with professional standards and government regulations.\n\n### Requirements\n- At least three (3) years of experience in the grade of Assistant Engineer I (Structural) or a comparable position in the Public Service.\n- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.\n- Mandatory registration with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB).\n- Possession of a current valid annual Practicing license from the ERB.\n- Corporate membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).\n- Proven track record of merit and ability in engineering performance and results.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their applications through the Nakuru County Government recruitment portal: .
