Job Description
Africa Safari Trips is seeking a dedicated Transfer Driver to join our team. This role is essential for providing safe, efficient, and professional transportation services to our clients, ensuring their journey is comfortable and their safari experience begins and ends on a high note.
Responsibilities
Transport clients to and from destinations while ensuring punctual pick-up and drop-off.
Deliver excellent customer service, including assisting with luggage and maintaining professionalism.
Ensure all vehicle documentation is valid and comply with traffic and safety regulations.
Monitor and control vehicle-related costs, including fuel usage and maintenance records.
Communicate effectively with the transport office and stay informed on routes and travel conditions.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma; a Diploma qualification is preferred.
Valid Driver's License (PSV) and TRA license.
3-5 years of proven experience as a professional driver, ideally in the tours and travel or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving techniques, and basic first aid.
Practical experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs.
Good knowledge of Kenya's geography, history, and wildlife, with the ability to engage and inform clients effectively.
