Bidco Africa Ltd. is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for their Beverages division. The primary objective of this role is to implement trade execution strategies that ensure product availability, visibility, and growth in market share within the assigned territory. The representative will be responsible for driving sales volumes and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders in the distribution chain.
Key Responsibilities
Execute sales plans to achieve volume growth and increase market share within the designated territory.
Ensure that products are consistently available, well-stocked, and correctly displayed in all retail outlets to maximize visibility.
Drive secondary sales plans through teams to enhance the movement of products from distributors to retailers.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Implement various promotional, sampling, and marketing campaign activities on-ground to stimulate consumer interest.
Collect and share valuable market and customer feedback with the management team.
Prepare accurate and timely daily and weekly reports regarding distribution status, sales execution, and market insights.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in field sales, trade marketing, or FMCG execution.
Previous experience working within the beverage product category is considered a strong advantage.
A strong understanding of retail merchandising techniques and trade promotion execution.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable business recommendations.
Must be self-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
