About the Role
Reporting to the Telesales Team Lead, the Telesales Agent will provide expert advice and information to potential customers regarding a variety of products offered by SunCulture. You will play a key role in increasing profitability and sales revenue through excellence in customer service and an informed, consultative approach to selling and client conversion. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and escalating complaints across various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
Target Achievement: Achieve over 70% of month-on-month KPIs, including Lead generation, Lead conversion, Sales targets, and talk-time.
Customer Engagement: Contact potential or existing customers to provide accurate information about SunCulture products using in-depth product knowledge.
Technical Advisory: Explain technical product features and answer customer questions clearly.
Lead Management: Proactively generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers; ensure at least an 80% conversion rate from self-generated leads.
Outbound Operations: Conduct extensive outbound calls that meet organizational KPIs and utilize 3CX systems for tracking and quality management.
Sales Strategy: Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals and create a sense of urgency for purchases.
Correspondence: Respond to customer inquiries via email, direct messages, and phone, ensuring consistent follow-up.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market surveys to obtain information about potential customers and measure customer experience and affordability.
Professional Development: Undertake all scheduled training to improve output quality and customer relationships.
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience in Sales and Customer Service; additional experience as a Telesales Representative is a significant advantage.
A diploma or degree in Sales or any other related field is an added advantage.
Qualification level: BA/BSc/HND.
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems (3CX).
Ability to learn complex technical products and explain them effectively to prospects.
Hands-on, detail-oriented, with strong execution and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve issues and handle rejection gracefully.
Passion for irrigation and knowledge of current industry trends.
Independent thinker with proactive decision-making capabilities and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
