Edenbridge Capital is a non-bank financial services company registered in Kenya that offers loans, guarantees, and insurance products to individuals and small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a Tele-Collections Intern to join our team in Kiriani. Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will be expected to support the collections department by engaging with clients regarding outstanding payments. Key duties include:
Contacting clients via telephone to discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
Providing excellent customer service while maintaining professional standards during debt collection processes.
Keeping accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and payment commitments.
Working collaboratively with the finance team to meet collection targets.
Handling sensitive and confidential financial information with the utmost integrity.
Resolving customer queries related to their loan accounts.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone presence.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of debt collection processes and customer service principles.
Experience: Prior experience in customer service, a call center environment, or debt collections is considered an added advantage.
