We are seeking a vibrant Tele-Collections Intern to join our team in Kerugoya. As a Tele-Collections Intern, you will be responsible for communicating with customers regarding their outstanding accounts, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accurate records are maintained to support the company's financial health.
Responsibilities
Communicating with customers regarding their outstanding accounts and negotiating payment arrangements.
Providing excellent customer service during all interactions.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all communications and account status.
Ensuring confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive customer information.
Collaborating with the team to meet collection targets and operational goals.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone presence.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of debt collection processes and customer service principles.
High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Prior experience in customer service, call center, or debt collections is an added advantage.
