Kenyatta University is seeking a Technician Grade A/B to join the institution. This role primarily focuses on providing technical support for teaching undergraduate medical physiology practical sessions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and organization of laboratory materials, maintaining safety standards, and assisting in the overall functionality of the laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the teaching of undergraduate medical physiology practical sessions.
Prepare necessary laboratory materials, reagents, and biological specimens.
Source and organize specific materials required for student practical exercises.
Assist in the setup and conduct of laboratory sessions to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and general functionality of the laboratory space.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols strictly.

The terms of service include a competitive remuneration package comprising a basic salary, house allowance, medical cover as per the University Scheme, and leave allowance.
