Oncology Tutor

The Oncology Tutor at Gertrude's Children's Hospital is responsible for coordinating paediatric oncology training by delivering both theoretical and clinical instruction. The role involves assessing student performance and ensuring that the curriculum adheres to the standards set by the Nursing Council. Additionally, the tutor maintains clinical competence and contributes to institutional quality improvement, audits, and research. ### Responsibilities - Coordinate paediatric oncology training programs. - Deliver theoretical and clinical instruction to students. - Assess and evaluate student performance and clinical progress. - Ensure curriculum compliance with Nursing Council standards. - Maintain clinical competence within the field of oncology. - Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and nursing research. ### Requirements - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BscN). - Higher National Diploma in Oncology/Paediatric Oncology nursing or equivalent. - Minimum of one (1) year of working experience as a Tutor. - Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practice license. - Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate. - Certification as a TVET instructor is desirable and considered an added advantage. - Certificate in any Paediatric Resuscitation skills is an added advantage. ### How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates should apply online through Gertrude's Children's Hospital's recruitment portal at .
