Mogo Finance is seeking a Technical Support Operator - Countrywide to conduct motorcycle inspections, vehicle valuations, GPS tracker and SIM card installations, motorcycle repairs, and provide technical guidance to clients throughout the loan application process.
Responsibilities
Motorcycle Inspections after Repossession: Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles to assess their condition, document damages/discrepancies, compile detailed inspection reports, and provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
Car Valuations and Inspections: Evaluate the value of cars using industry-standard valuation techniques and tools, taking into account make, model, year, condition, mileage, and market trends.
GPS Tracker Installation: Install GPS trackers on cars and motorcycles to facilitate efficient monitoring and tracking for the duration of the loan. Ensure proper installation and functionality while adhering to established guidelines.
SIM Card Installation: Install SIM cards into GPS devices.
Motorcycle Repairs: Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on motorcycles to restore them to operational condition. Collaborate with repair teams to address technical issues and ensure quality repairs are executed promptly.
Client Assistance during Loan Application: Offer technical guidance and support to clients throughout the loan application process. Address client inquiries regarding technical aspects of financing.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all vehicle inspections, valuations, installations, and repairs performed. Generate comprehensive reports and documentation for internal use and compliance.
Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality and accuracy in all technical tasks performed. Continuously monitor and assess processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Customer Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional technical support and addressing concerns professionally.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols in all tasks.
Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct a holistic assessment of vehicle condition (visual check, driving test, warning lights, smoke, etc.) and identify/report fraudulent cars (e.g., tampered chassis numbers).
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in engineering or a related field.
2 years of previous experience.
Fluent in English and Swahili.
Knowledge of the Kenyan car market (e.g., model features, vehicle technical structure).
High sense of responsibility, preciseness, ability to plan and set priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
