Orchid HR Outsourcing is seeking a Technical Sales Support specialist dedicated to their stone paving product line. The primary objective of this role is to provide technical expertise and comprehensive sales support to drive project conversions and improve organizational performance for corporate clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process, from identifying opportunities and providing technical consultations to closing deals and ensuring after-sales satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Project Conversion: Actively pursue, convert, and close projects in line with established sales targets.
Technical Consultations: Provide detailed product information to customers, ensuring they understand the features and technical benefits of the stone paving products.
Price Negotiation: Negotiate product pricing and terms with potential customers, ensuring all agreements align with company policies.
Quotation Management: Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for clients based on their technical requirements and project specifications.
Follow-up: Regularly follow up with customers on generated quotations to ensure timely closure and resolve any concerns.
Operational Coordination: Collaborate with the finance team for payment confirmation and invoicing, and work with the dispatch team to ensure accurate delivery of goods.
Market Development: Conduct regular field visits in the assigned region to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
After-Sales Support: Make after-sales calls to assess client satisfaction and provide technical support when necessary.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with clients in the assigned region.
Market Intelligence: Gather insights on competitors to help guide management decisions on product offerings and sales strategies.
Reporting: Prepare and submit daily sales reports and weekly pipeline updates.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (A Diploma in a related field is also considered).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the building and construction industry and/or an FMCG environment.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of technical products and services, particularly in construction.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical products clearly.
Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
