Job Description
Kenya Maritime Authority was set up in June 2004 as the semi-autonomous agency in charge of regulatory oversight over the Kenyan maritime industry. As the pacesetter of the Kenyan maritime industry, the Authority seeks to strengthen maritime administration in Kenya through enhancement of regulatory and institutional capacities for maritime safety and security. They are currently looking for a Supply Chain Management Officer to support their procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing for goods, works and services as per the procurement law.
Raising purchase orders for goods and services for approval.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintaining and updating a list of prequalified suppliers.
Assisting in undertaking market surveys to ensure the Authority obtains value for money.
Ensuring safe custody of all procurement’s records.
Participating in the opening of quotations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or Supplies Management.
