Stores Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and Verify Goods: Inspect all incoming deliveries to ensure they match purchase orders and quality specifications.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date stock records and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Issuance of Materials: Process internal requisitions and issue items to various departments based on approved requests.
• Storage and Safety: Ensure proper storage conditions, correct labeling, and the overall security and safety of all items within the stores.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular stock and inventory reports to the college management.

Minimum Requirements

• Academic Qualification: Must possess a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Stores Management.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in stores or inventory management.
• Personal Attributes: Must be honest, highly organized, and possess a strong attention to detail.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in computer applications with excellent record-keeping and numerical skills.
