As a Store Salesperson for Footwear, you will be the face of the brand, responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales in a retail environment. CDL Human Resource is seeking a high-energy, punctual, and well-groomed individual who is passionate about sports or fitness culture and possesses a genuine 'can-do' attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience: Greet every customer with a "Karibu!" and a smile. Identify their specific needs, whether they are professional athletes or casual shoppers.
Product Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on footwear technologies (cushioning, stability, breathability) and current apparel trends to offer expert advice.
Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed daily and monthly sales KPIs through proactive customer engagement and effective upselling or cross-selling.
Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store floor remains top-tier by keeping shoes laced correctly, sizes stocked, and the environment clutter-free.
Inventory & POS Operations: Assist with stock takes and deliveries. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including Cash, M-Pesa, and Card payments.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the brand's core values both within the store and in the community.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: At least 1 year or more in retail sales, with a preference for experience in fashion or sportswear.
Education: A Diploma in Business or Marketing is considered a plus.
Skills: Proficiency in English and Swahili is required (familiarity with Sheng is an advantage).
Attributes: High energy, punctual, well-groomed, and physically capable of being on your feet all day.
Technical Literacy: Comfortable using digital inventory tools and social media platforms.
Availability: Flexible to work weekends, late shifts, and public holidays.
