Sonographer

This position is responsible for performing high-quality radiological services using ultrasound technology and providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. The position holder will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic procedures, obtain and interpret images, and assist in patient care.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to obtain high-quality medical images.\n* Interpret and analyze scan results to assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing patient conditions.\n* Maintain and ensure the proper calibration and functioning of ultrasound equipment.\n* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the Health Management Information System.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n* Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology.\n* Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.\n* At least one (1) year of work experience.\n* Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.\n* Member of the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).\n* Report writing skills.\n* Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).\n* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
