The Senior Manager, Global Change – PRIME, GI Uptake & Data Insights is responsible for leading the Change Management of large-scale, global transformation projects within Save the Children. This role involves documenting and communicating changes across people, processes, and systems to ensure organizational shifts are sustainable and effective. You will lead impact analyses, define change approaches, and manage stakeholder engagement across a complex global landscape.
Responsibilities
- Change Impact Analysis: Develop detailed analyses to identify the difference between current and future states across all workstreams, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated.
- Strategic Approach: Define a change approach to ensure desired changes are delivered effectively and sustainably.
- Transition Planning: Develop detailed plans capturing activities at project and country levels to manage the change process.
- Stakeholder Management: Conduct stakeholder analysis to inform change and communication planning and manage engagement plans across the organization.
- Communications: Develop material such as Compelling Stories, Current/Future State Analyses, and overall change impact assessments to support engagements.
- Workstream Management: Define the approach and manage the workstream plan to ensure effective delivery of outcomes.
- Internal Alignment: Manage internal communication for the project team and governance groups to integrate their input into the initiative.
- Project Leadership: Act as a key part of the Project Management team, supporting the Project Lead and representing them in governance forums during absences.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Change Management Expertise: Considerable experience leading Change Management for large, global transformation projects (both system and non-system change) in a similar scale organization.
- Methodology: Evidence of formal training or understanding of a structured Change Management Methodology.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated experience engaging and collaborating with global stakeholders, including Senior Leaders, from diverse contexts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to define clear ways forward and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Project Experience: Experience leading change for projects focused on systems and behavioral change where digital literacy levels vary.
- Sectors: Non-profit sector knowledge or experience in international development projects (Desirable).
- Languages: Proficiency in a second language such as French, Spanish, or Arabic (Desirable).
- Certification: External Change Management Accreditation (Desirable).
