Role Overview
The Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion HCM Solutions at Save the Children will partner with the Product Owner to lead the delivery of Fusion HCM enhancements on the live solution. The role focuses on prioritizing changes that deliver organizational value and ensuring configuration, integration, and business process designs are fit for purpose. The position combines deep Oracle Fusion product expertise with hands-on HR experience to support continuous evolution, scalability, and internal capability building across a global footprint.
Principal Accountabilities
- Partner with the Product Owner — who owns the roadmap on behalf of the business — to lead the delivery of Fusion HCM enhancements on the live solution, prioritising changes that deliver organisational value and ensuring configuration, integration, and business process designs are fit for purpose.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to shape and continuously evolve the future roadmap of Fusion HCM enhancements, including interfaces to other key systems, advising on scalability, performance, and a reduction in complexity across the estate.
- Partner with the FMS team on cross-system interdependencies — validating that any changes to HCM proposed to accommodate the finance solution are properly impact-assessed and do not create unnecessary inefficiencies on the HR and people side.
- Bring deep Oracle Fusion product expertise together with hands-on HR and people experience — including emerging capabilities and best practice — translating this for colleagues and upskilling the team to build durable internal capability.
- Review and advise on architecture, configuration, and integrations to drive efficiency and productivity through simplicity, supporting the technical integrity and long-term sustainability of the solution.
- Establish a Centre of Excellence — bringing together the teams already working with the live solution, including HR and the internal IT development team — and own its longer-term roadmap, applying industry experience and best practice to its design and operation.
- Define success metrics for the roadmap and ensure consistent realisation of benefits, maintaining focus on improving the people and HR user experience and increasing organisational impact.
- Work closely with available change resource, to plan for accelerated adoption and successful, sustainable change across the movement.
- Provide strategic guidance on architecture, governance, support, and administration, ensuring business and IT alignment including across Member operations.
- Draw on Oracle product knowledge and relationships, working alongside internal IT teams and third party vendors to advise on a fit-for-purpose solution.
- Support Members as they adopt and optimise the global solution — guiding them through local feasibility assessments, configuration, and roll-out — while building close relationships with HR, People and Member colleagues to enable adoption, buy-in, and shared capability.
