The Senior Business Development Executive is responsible for implementing the company's marketing strategy, including capacity development, administration, and recruitment of alternative distribution channels. The role involves managing and enhancing client relationships, supporting, mentoring and motivating life marketing teams, and ensuring good service delivery to customers to achieve increased market share in line with the overall development strategy and objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
Training Intermediary
Training and Development: Train Agents and Unit Managers on life products and soft skills, ensuring their professional development for compliance.
Agency Coordination: Coordinate all agencies to ensure commonality in implementation and market activation of agency initiatives.
Capacity Building: Prepare agency training materials and capacity building for smooth implementation.
Sales Strategy: Implement sales force strategies to achieve sales targets.
Market Representation: Represent the company to identify new market opportunities with agencies and provide assurance to potential clients.
Performance Management: Coach, mentor, develop, and motivate the Agency sales force to achieve highest levels of performance.
Welfare Management: Manage and improve the welfare needs of the agencies.
Best Practice: Identify, implement, and benchmark best practices in agency management.
Alternative Distribution Channels
Growth and Retention: Drive new business and customer retention through bancassurance and alternative distribution channels.
Partnership Management: Establish, maintain, and grow relations with Bank Officers and alternative partners to identify marketing opportunities and customer requirements.
Channel Coordination: Manage and coordinate the smooth running of bancassurance and alternative channels for quality and quantity business.
Conservation: Drive Customer Service, Banks, and alternative business conservation activities.
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree in any business-related field.
Professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance.
At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience.
