Frank Management Consult Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Audit. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the organization's financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and leading the financial reporting and audit processes. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage audits, and supervise a team to ensure operational efficiency within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and comprehensive management reports.
Audit Management: Oversee both internal and external audit processes, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
Statutory Compliance: Prepare and file accurate VAT returns and ensure adherence to all statutory regulations.
Financial Operations: Manage month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, and General Ledger (GL) reviews.
General Ledger Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the accuracy of all general ledger accounts.
Functional Support: Overlook and provide support for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
Compliance & Legal: Oversee overall company audit and compliance requirements, insurance claims tracking, and legal documentation including licenses, permits, and legal cases.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the financial reporting and audit team.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certification: CPA (K) qualification is mandatory.
Experience: 4-7 years of professional accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), audits, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
