The Audit Manager will oversee and manage client audits, lead and coach audit teams, and ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tax matters and delivering accurate financial reporting under tight deadlines. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and backgrounds.
Lead, coach, and supervise audit teams, ensuring audit work covers all material and high-risk areas without compromising quality.
Conduct client exit meetings, finalize financial statements, and submit tax returns on time.
Handle client tax matters and liaise with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Maintain professional, ethical, and independent standards in all client engagements.
Deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines and under pressure.
Key Qualifications
Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance or any other related field.
Must possess a CPA-K qualification.
Proficient in using financial software and tools.
Hands-on individual with strong integrity and interpersonal skills.
Able to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
