Job Description
Taita Taveta University (TTU), a public university located in Taita Taveta County, is recruiting for the position of Secretarial Assistant II (Grade 3). The role involves providing administrative and secretarial support to ensure the efficient operation of university offices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general secretarial and clerical duties including typing and document processing.
Manage office records, filing systems, and correspondence.
Handle office enquiries and direct visitors or calls appropriately.
Assist in the preparation of official reports and meeting documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and security of office records and information.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a KCSE Certificate.
Possession of qualifications in Office Administration or Management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Secretarial Assistant III or in a comparable position.
Must possess Typing I (30 w.p.m.) from a recognized institution.
Must possess Office Practice I from a recognized institution.
Must be computer literate.
Must have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
Terms of Service
The position is on Permanent and Pensionable Terms.
The successful candidate will be entitled to applicable allowances as approved by the University Council.
