Sciencescope Limited is seeking a dedicated Sales & Marketing professional specializing in Surgical, Theatre, ICU, and Dialysis equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the company's market presence within the medical equipment sector, specifically targeting high-care hospital environments like operating theatres and intensive care units.
Responsibilities and Duties
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals and clinics in Kenya.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical training for medical staff on surgical and ICU equipment.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand visibility for medical consumables.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and procurement departments in the medical field.
Manage sales targets and provide market analysis reports to the management team.
Travel extensively (up to 80% of the time) to visit clients and support equipment installations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Sales and Marketing within a medical-related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar sales role within the healthcare industry.
Advantageous Experience: Direct experience working within an operating theatre environment is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of ICU, Theatre, and Surgical equipment and medical consumables.
Mobility: Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time for field activities.
Required Skills
Proven expertise in medical device sales and marketing.
Strong relationship management and networking skills within the healthcare sector.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities for technical product demonstrations.
Ability to work independently and meet aggressive sales targets.
