As a Sales Manager for Consumer Electronics, you will be responsible for driving the growth and market presence of our client's brand within the Kenyan market. You will lead the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at achieving ambitious revenue targets while managing key relationships with a broad network of distributors and retailers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Channel Management: Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure product reach.
Market Expansion: Expand product reach across Kenya, ensuring brand availability in all major markets.
Brand Positioning: Promote and position the brand as a competitive leader in the consumer electronics industry.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategy.
Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and accurate forecasts for management review.
Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals with key partners and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to drive brand awareness and promotional activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 5–8 years of proven experience in sales management, specifically within the consumer electronics industry.
Network: A strong, existing network of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in Kenya.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
