The Sales Invoicing Clerk is responsible for handling customer orders, processing, and accurately charging orders to facilitate the issuance of products or goods to clients. This role balances administrative accuracy in billing with proactive efforts to support sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Billing: Generate and process customer invoices accurately and timely. Verify and review sales orders and relevant documentation to ensure precise billing.
Customer Service: Attend to customer requests, handle their needs, and develop positive relationships with potential and existing clients.
Sales & Growth: Drive overall sales revenues and profitability by supporting existing clients and developing new clients and markets. Generate new sales through proactive outreach.
Order Management: Update customer files with issued invoices and coordinate the timely delivery of customer orders. Follow up on customer satisfaction regarding order implementation.
Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices related to invoicing and billing.
Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor of Commerce or an equivalent degree.
Experience: This is an entry-level position; recent graduates with no prior experience will be considered.
