CDL Human Resource, founded in 2003 by Lucy Mmari, is a leading recruitment and human resource consultancy. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive for our security division in Nairobi to drive business growth and maintain client relationships.
Role Overview
As a Sales Executive specializing in the security sector, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients. This role involves implementing sales strategies, conducting detailed security assessments to understand client needs, and delivering customized security solutions. You will work closely with the Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure accurate pricing and seamless service delivery.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify prospective clients within targeted segments and follow up on prospects.
Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute the company sales strategy and plan while adhering to established sales procedures.
Client Solutions: Conduct security surveys to determine client requirements and prepare focused proposals in collaboration with the Business Development, Operations, and Technical Managers.
Sales Automation: Utilize Sales Force automation platforms to manage the sales pipeline.
Financial Diligence: Observe correct product pricing in liaison with Finance and conduct credit checks for new clients prior to onboarding.
Documentation: Ensure all contracts and necessary documents are signed and presented before service commencement.
Market Analysis: Gather market intelligence on business growth areas, conduct competitor analysis, and identify diversification opportunities.
Marketing and Presentation: Participate in marketing activities and present customized solutions to prospective customers.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Collaboration: Support the tender team with relevant information and attend briefing sessions.
Sustainability & Compliance: Embrace Business Development related ESG initiatives and implement cost control measures.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BA/BSc/HND).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with proven results in a busy business development environment.
Training: Professional training in sales and marketing is highly preferred.
Skills: Exceptional communication skills, committed, resourceful, results-oriented, self-driven, customer-focused, high initiative, good interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and presentation skills.
