The Sales Executive (Government & Institutions) is responsible for driving sales and business development within the government, county, and institutional sectors. This role involves identifying procurement opportunities, managing technical tenders, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The successful candidate will oversee the entire sales cycle—from initial tender monitoring to project delivery—while maintaining professional brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management: Monitor tender portals to identify government and institutional procurement opportunities. Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documentation that complies with all requirements.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in ministries, counties, and various institutions.
Project Coordination: Ensure projects adhere to technical specifications and timelines. Track project milestones and payment processes to ensure smooth delivery.
Field Operations: Conduct daily field visits to engage with clients and stakeholders; submit detailed reports on these activities.
Sales Strategy: Provide weekly updates on the sales pipeline, maintain accurate CRM data, and perform efficient follow-ups to achieve assigned sales and project targets.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the client's brand with high professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in government or institutional sales.
Industry Knowledge: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in water treatment, industrial solutions, or technical project sales.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in tender management, project execution, and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
