Key Responsibilities
Territory Management: Manage a territory of food service and hospitality accounts in Nairobi to grow revenue.
Account Development: Visit existing customers to expand their orders and the variety of products they purchase.
Business Prospecting: Identify and secure new business through field visits, referrals, and networking.
Sales Operations: Log all activities and pipelines in a mobile CRM system.
Financial Support: Follow up on collections and assist customers through the company's credit process.
Collaboration: Attend weekly team huddles to review performance and share successful strategies.
Consultative Selling: Use product playbooks to identify upselling opportunities and conduct professional sales conversations.
What to Expect
Structured onboarding with clear milestones for the first 90 days.
Ongoing coaching and the tools necessary to perform the job effectively.
A base salary of KES 30,000 with uncapped commissions (realistic total earnings of KES 40,000 – 60,000+).
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A diploma or degree in any field.
Communication: Must be clear and professional in both English and Swahili (written and verbal).
Experience: Previous sales experience is not required; hospitality or food industry knowledge is highly valued. The role is suitable for early-career reps (0–2 years) or career changers.
Work Ethic: This is a field role requiring 6–8 customer visits per day across Nairobi. You must be self-driven and disciplined.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications daily.
Coachability: Willingness to follow systems and implement feedback quickly.
