Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Marketing Manager who will play a vital role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the Manufacturing - building materials sector. The role focuses on generating leads, securing projects, strengthening brand visibility, managing client relationships, and positioning the company competitively in the construction and infrastructure market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and project acquisition targets.
Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
Proposal Management: Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders for construction-related projects.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Marketing Execution: Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Digital Presence: Promote products through digital and traditional channels, overseeing the company website, social media, and physical marketing materials like brochures and catalogs.
Client Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants; handle key accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities; monitor pricing and demand.
Bid Preparation: Identify relevant tenders, coordinate preparation of technical/commercial proposals, and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
Leadership: Lead, supervise, and mentor the sales and marketing team, setting and monitoring KPIs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with operations, production, and technical teams to ensure project alignment.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
8 years’ and above experience in marketing, training, or a related role.
Strong understanding of Manufacturing - building materials and market dynamics is an added advantage.
Proven expertise in negotiation and business development.
Ability in strategic planning and market analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
Results-driven and target-oriented mindset.
