This role is centered on driving growth for CIC Insurance Group's retail Life Business division within the Nairobi region. The position offers an attractive performance-based retainer, along with incentives and commissions. The primary objective is to expand the client base and ensure the delivery of high-quality insurance services to both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Proactively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on various retail Life insurance products to help them make informed decisions.
Service Coordination: Liaise with various internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to ensure the company's product range remains competitive and updated.
Persistency Management: Follow up with clients to ensure policy persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the marketplace.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Professional Certification: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP.
Advanced Certification: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is considered an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer Care: Proven track record of excellent customer care skills.
Age: Candidates must be 25 years of age and above.
