Job Description

As a Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing hotel performance through data analysis, market surveillance, and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
Communicate processes to the reservation and front office teams regarding booking quality and correct data input into the Property Management System (PMS).
Regularly audit the input and quality of data, including segmentation and denial tracking.
Maintain and update the event database within the Revenue Management System (RMS).
Analyze hotel performance metrics in the RMS to provide a basis for strategy decisions.
Conduct market research and competitor surveys regarding pricing and closed dates to inform future pricing strategies.
Analyze the performance of contracts (price, allotments, rooms sold) before renewal decisions are made.
Identify and analyze market trends to provide actionable recommendations to management.
Provide support in the preparation of the annual revenue budget.
Utilize the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or a related Business course.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience within the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
