Hotel Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Take full control of the day-to-day operations of the hotel, resort, and event centre.
• Guest Satisfaction: Obsess over guest experiences across all touchpoints, including accommodation, dining, and events.
• Food and Beverage (F&B) Oversight: Ensure that the restaurant, bar, and catering services run smoothly and efficiently.
• Events Management: Flawlessly execute weddings, conferences, retreats, and other functions.
• Revenue Generation: Drive growth in occupancy rates, event bookings, and food & beverage sales.
• Financial Discipline: Manage cost controls, stick to budgets, and ensure overall profitability.
• Team Leadership: Handle HR functions, conduct training, and lead a motivated workforce.
• Community Engagement: Represent the establishment in the local community and tourism sector.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Background: Experience working in a resort, lodge, or upcountry hospitality setting is highly desirable.
• Functional Skills: Comprehensive experience in F&B, accommodation, and events management.
• Certifications: Professional certifications in hospitality or food safety are considered an added advantage.
• Track Record: A proven history of maintaining guest satisfaction and running profitable operations.
