Job Description
Tandeli is an artisanal microbakery based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in sourdough bread, cardamom buns, and focaccia with Gujarati influences. While operating primarily as an online bakery with deliveries, they are expanding to a new location on Rhapta Road and are looking for passionate Bakers to join their team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of artisanal products, including sourdough bread, cardamom buns, and focaccia.
Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced microbakery environment.
Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Contribute to the creative process of developing new products with Gujarati influences.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
A strong passion for artisanal baking techniques and sourdough production.
Strong interest or background in catering and confectionery.
Previous experience in a bakery setting is an added advantage.
Ability to work well within a collaborative team.
