Relationship Manager – Institutional Banking

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Kenya is seeking a Relationship Manager – Institutional Banking to drive business growth across the NGO and SACCO segments. This role is central to identifying new opportunities, managing existing relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening strategic partnerships, and enhancing the Bank’s positioning within the institutional banking space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to grow the NGO and SACCO client segments.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage existing client relationships.
• Appraise funding and credit requests and prepare necessary documentation.
• Support clients with advisory services to ensure efficient banking operations.
• Conduct continuous market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and manage risks.
• Deliver sustainable revenue growth while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in managing NGO and SACCO clients within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong commercial focus with a track record of driving growth and building impactful partnerships.
• Excellent relationship management and networking skills.
• Strong analytical and credit appraisal abilities.
