Job Description
BIMAS Kenya Limited, a leading microfinance institution in the country, seeks to recruit a capable and result-oriented individual to fill the position of Registry and Records Management Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization's documents are systematically classified, archived, and handled with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Classify and label documents and file accordingly to ensure efficient retrieval.
Ensure the document management system is consistently up-to-date.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the registry and archive areas.
Respond to record requests by retrieving requested files promptly.
Maintain accurate records of all document orders and movements.
Remove or archive repeated documents or irrelevant/outdated information.
Respond to queries in person, by e-mail, by post, or by phone.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity regarding all organizational information.
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.
Academic Performance: Minimum Grade of C plain in KCSE.
Technical Skills: Must be computer literate.
Personal Attributes: High integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
