Role Overview
The Embu County Government is seeking to recruit three (3) Registered Physiotherapists III. This is a professional role focused on providing quality physiotherapy services within the county's health facilities to improve patient outcomes through physical rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional physiotherapy services to patients in various hospital departments.
Conduct physical assessments of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans involving manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records and reports.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and their families on management and prevention strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Diploma or Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
A valid National Identity Card.
Copies of Academic and Professional Certificates accompanied by Testimonials.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide current Chapter Six documents, including clearances from:
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)
