Regional Multimedia Fact-Checkers - Trans Nzoia

Key Responsibilities

• Multimedia Content Production: Create and produce video, audio, and text content from assigned regions.
• Information Verification: Rigorously verify information to ensure the accuracy of all content before publication.
• Editorial Coordination: Liaise with the central Editorial Team regarding local activities and stories.
• Brand Contribution: Develop and contribute content across all Mediamax brands (TV, Radio, and Print).
• Monitoring Trends: Track and report on local trends, news, and emerging issues relevant to the region.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Journalism or a related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in content production.
• Proven ability to produce multimedia content across video, audio, and text formats.
• Fluency in English and Swahili (knowledge of a local language is an added advantage).
• Strong fact-checking, research, and storytelling skills.
