Regional Multimedia Fact-Checkers - Mandera

Key Responsibilities

• Create and produce multimedia content (video, audio, and text) from assigned regions.
• Verify information and ensure accuracy of all published content.
• Liaise with the Editorial Team on activities and stories within your area.
• Develop and contribute content for all Mediamax brands.
• Monitor and report on local trends, news, and emerging issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Diploma in Journalism or a related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in content production.
• Proven ability to produce multimedia content.
• Fluency in English and Swahili (local language is an added advantage).
• Strong fact-checking, research, and storytelling skills.
