Job Description
Role Overview
The Quality Assurance, Internal Audits, and ISO Certification Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of quality, compliance, and certification are maintained within the WIOCC Group. This role involves supporting cross-functional Quality Management and assurance processes, supporting internal audits, and maintaining ISO and other industry-based certifications. The specialist will work closely with various departments to implement and monitor quality controls, internal audit practices, and ISO standards to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of products/services to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Identify and address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Internal Audits
Plan, execute, and report on internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, compliance with regulations, and adherence to company policies.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and reports.
ISO-Based Certifications
Manage and maintain ISO certification processes, including preparation for audits and recertifications.
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, 50001, 22301) and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
Provide training and support to staff on ISO standards and best practices.
Oversee documentation and record-keeping related to ISO compliance and certification.
Ensure the management of the WIOCC Group Integrated Management System.
Industry-Based Certifications
Oversee compliance for PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry – Data Security Systems).
Manage Uptime, SOCII, and any other industry certifications preferred by the business.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in a business-related field, Quality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Relevant professional certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or Quality Management Professional (preferred).
Minimum 7 years of working experience in an accounting and operations environment.
In-depth understanding of business processes and the ability to identify internal control issues.
Experience working in the telecommunications industry is an added advantage.
Experience with PCI-DSS, SOCII, and Uptime certifications is an added advantage.
Project Management certification (Prince II or equivalent) is preferred.
ITIL4 Practitioner certification is preferred.
