Role Overview
The County Government of Bomet is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Public Health Officer (Grade CPSB 09). This role is part of the health services department, focusing on environmental health and public safety within the county.
Responsibilities and Duties
Implement environmental health and public health policies and programs.
Monitor and enforce sanitation and hygiene standards in public and private premises.
Conduct health inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote community health.
Maintain records and prepare reports related to public health activities within the assigned jurisdiction.
Requirements for Appointment
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Public Health from a recognized institution.
Professional Registration: Must be registered by a relevant regulatory body in Kenya.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience.
