Information about the role
Nandi County, known as Kenya’s athletics hub and the 'home of champions', is seeking a Public Communications Officer II specialized in Video Editing. The successful candidate will join the county's communication team to manage visual storytelling and multimedia production.
Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into high-quality content for public information and county promotion.
Manage film production and animation projects to support communication objectives.
Collaborate with the public communications department to meet multimedia needs.
Support oral and written communication efforts in both English and Kiswahili.
Utilize computer applications for professional media production and administrative tasks.
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Film and Theatre, Production and Animation, Film Technology or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized University/Institution in Kenya.
Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
Be proficient in computer applications.
